The accompanying statement went as follows -
My current work represents, a contemporary Australian take on the UK TV
satire Spitting Images, blessed as we are with politicians, who excel, not in their abilities at running the country, but as subjects for
caricature.
“On yer bike, Clover” represents my
personal protest at the proliferation of bicycle lanes in the CBD, which rarely
seem to see a cyclist, and serve only to further the traffic chaos that we
have come to expect in downtown Sydney.
